Regional Security Manager - Retail & Commercial Trident is looking to engage an experienced, highly motivated and effective Regional Manager to lead our Retail security business in Brisbane. Regional Security Manager Trident Services Security Pty Ltd is an industry leader in the provision of integrated services, including cleaning and security services in retail centres and airports throughout Australia. We pride ourselves on the delivery of highly proactive and well-managed services to our Clients. Trident is looking to engage an experienced, highly motivated and effective Regional Manager to lead our security site supervisors and security teams across multiple premier retail properties in the Brisbane region. As a Regional Security Manager, you will be responsible for the effective operational and administrative management and control of our dedicated security personnel/site teams. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that our personnel consistently meet and maintain best practice in the delivery of safety, security, and customer services to our clients’ operations and their customers. The position also acts as the key contact point for our client, consistent with our contract compliance framework for each client – ensuring the quality, standard, and contracted deliverables are being implemented and met to the client’s satisfaction. This is a full-time role for the successful candidate, with a competitive salary, company supplied vehicle, and mobile phone. What you’ll be doing Reporting to the Head of Security – Retail and Commercial on all security and safety-related matters. Develop, introduce, maintain, and support strategies for the continuous improvement of Trident security services to the client portfolio you are assigned. Effective management and coordination of the various site security Supervisors/Managers, in line with all contractual service expectations and emergency management guidelines. Oversight of the security team roster and Trident’s time and attendance processes, including meeting budgets, financial performance, and taking on accountability for service delivery outcomes. Ensuring adherence to and contract compliance with site operating instructions, site management plans, and all client critical policies and procedures. Ensure that quality service standards are maintained by all team members through effective auditing, training, and mentoring – including onboarding, induction, and site-specific training. Control of employee management processes and corrective actions where required. The coordination and overseeing of training delivery to all security personnel, to ensure that service standards remain contemporary and in keeping with our contractual obligations. Compiling and generating various reports for both Trident and the client, in line with the service specifications. Liaising regularly with centre management and all stakeholders, including emergency services and associated local business and community groups, for the purpose of developing and maintaining strong working relationships. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies. Contributing to governance, strategy, and driving continuous improvement and innovation. Identifying and implementing improvements to existing security and safety procedures and protocols. The person we are looking for will possess: Minimum 3 years’ demonstrated experience in a supervisory, managerial, or large team leadership role within the security industry. Excellent leadership skills, high-level interpersonal and exemplary communication skills, and strategic planning abilities. Strategic thinker with a focus on results and a track record of achieving ambitious objectives. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a proactive approach to security and emergency management processes. Thorough understanding of security practices, procedures, and all current and relevant legislation. Hold relevant industry licenses in compliance with QLD Security Licensing – specifically Crowd Control, Security Officer (Unarmed), and Monitoring components. Hold a valid Senior First Aid Certificate with CPR (issued through a current RTO). Unrestricted working rights in Australia. Open Class C - Australian Driver Licence. Proficient in the use of security-related technology and systems.
