What you will do: Provide comprehensive care to a dedicated group of patients, ensuring high-quality midwifery services. Offer support and mentorship to less experienced colleagues, including enrolled and student nurses. Continuously develop your clinical skills in alignment with your career aspirations and industry standards. Participate actively in performance management and ongoing professional training. Engage in discharge planning and coordinate primary case management. Conduct patient assessments with a focus on continuity of care. Uphold infection control standards and participate actively in emergency procedure training. Maintain thorough and accurate documentation, ensuring seamless care transitions. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to plan and deliver patient-centered care. Adhere to health and safety guidelines, promoting a safe environment for patients and staff. Participate in quality improvement projects, audits, and support organisational innovations. Selection Criteria: Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA) Bachelor of Nursing/Midwifery Degree, Postgraduate certificate in Midwifery or equivalent Effective communication & interpersonal skills Demonstrated competence as a midwifery clinician Expertise and/or qualifications in specific specialty as required Postgraduate qualification or working toward the same.
