Employment Type : Temporary Full time or Part time (until Nov 2025) Position Classification : Registered Midwife Remuneration : 36.38 - 51.08 Hours Per Week : Various Requisition ID : REQ545353 Applications close : Wednesday 22 January 2025 Employment with Mid North Coast LHD requires candidates to hold a valid authority to work in Australia (Aust Work Rights Visa). Your Role As a midwife in this position, you’ll deliver evidence-based care focused on women’s health. Your Responsibilities Will Include Practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective midwifery care that reflects current standards of midwifery practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures. Enhancing health outcomes for women through skilled and compassionate care. What We’re Looking For Current midwifery registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA). A strong understanding of evidence-informed practice and critical thinking. Excellent interpersonal skills with effective written and verbal communication abilities to thrive in a multidisciplinary team.
