The Team: The newly commissioned Operating Theatre complex consists of two Endoscopy, two General Theatres, Post Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and a Day Surgery Unit (DSU). Currently functioning in two theatres each day, with plans to increase to three theatres in the coming months. The regional theatres for the Northwest provide surgical services for minor general, gynaecology, endoscopy, orthopaedics, urology, and dental procedures for the North and Northwest. The Role: Our Registered Nurses strengthen health outcomes through the provision of safe quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, their families, and other health professionals. Details of Appointment: Fixed term, part-time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 9 June 2025. Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Classification: Salary: $78,179 - $105,995 per annum (pro rata) + 11.5% superannuation + access to salary packaging. Access to the Grade 4 salary range $96,558 - $102,908 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4. Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023. *Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar vacancies.
