This is an exciting opportunity to work in a variety of dynamic and specialised environments, including the A62 Cardiology Unit, the Cardiology Interventional Suite, and Clinical Measurements. In the A62 Cardiology Unit , you’ll be part of a highly skilled team providing compassionate care for patients undergoing cardiac diagnostics, monitoring, and management. Working in this unit, you'll develop expertise in cardiac assessment, management of acute and chronic conditions, and the delivery of care in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment. (All shifts available) In the Cardiology Interventional Suite , you’ll be at the forefront of cutting-edge medical technology, assisting in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as angiograms, stent placements and device implantations. This role offers the chance to work closely with cardiologists and other specialists in a high-tech, high impact setting where you’ll see immediate results from your care and intervention. (Monday to Friday service) In the Clinical Measurements Unit , you’ll work directly with patients to perform key assessments, including ECGs, stress tests, Holter monitoring and other cardiac diagnostic procedures, contributing to the critical data needed for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. This department is ideal for those who enjoy detailed patient interactions and are keen to develop a strong understanding of cardiovascular health. Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Demonstrated recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an environment appropriate to the relevant speciality. Demonstrated ability to provide safe compassionate quality care that is culturally responsive. Demonstrated and given examples of recent experiences as a Registered Nurse in an Acute care hospital setting in an environment providing care for patients undergoing cardiac assessments, procedures, and interventions. Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and personally resolve conflicts when they arise. Demonstrated evidence of the use of critical thinking as it relates to the delivery of evidenced based nursing care. Demonstrated understanding and participation in risk management, work health and safety and quality improvement in the workplace. Need more information?
