Registered Nurse Casual Pool Perioperative Services, Auburn Hospital Pay: Competitive Employment Type: Full-Time Job Description Req#: 209507 Employment Type: 10x Casual Position Classification: Registered Nurse Remuneration: $33.97 - $47.69 per hour Requisition ID: REQ394444 Where you'll be working: Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you'll be doing: Provide individualised excellent patient/client care within a health service environment to maximise the health outcomes for a patient/client, within a multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and outcomes. Essential Criteria: Current Nursing Registration (RN) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) Selection Criteria: Current perioperative experience in Scrub and/or Scout speciality areas. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work. Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide person-centred care. Demonstrated effective communication skills - written and verbal. Effective interpersonal skills showing initiative and leadership to junior members of the team. Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills, and willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues.
