The Child Health and Parenting Service (CHaPS) is seeking suitable candidates to join our dynamic team in providing quality service for families of children under 5 based on King Island, Tasmania. CHaPS provides important health and wellbeing services for families across Tasmania with children aged 0-5, promoting healthy development and wellbeing through assessments, early intervention, referrals, and connections with other early childhood service providers. The role: Nursing Care: Assess, plan, implement and evaluate health care in collaboration with individuals/groups, families and communities. Teamwork: Interact effectively with clients’ families and other professionals to facilitate optimum child-centred health care. Excellence in Practice: Actively participate in maintaining and improving the quality of patient/client care, including research and evidence-based practice. Learning Culture: Identify and meet client goals in partnership with clients and their families/significant others. Quality & Safety: Contribute to the organisation’s Quality & Safety and Work Health & Safety processes, including safety systems and improvement initiatives. Details of appointment: Permanent, part-time, day worker position, working 15.2 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Fixed term, casual position working as needed for approximately 12 or 24 months. Note: Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Applicants should note that this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time, part-time, and casual vacancies for twelve months from the publication date. Salary: $78,179 to $105,995 per annum (Pro rata), plus 11.5% superannuation contribution. Casual loading of 25% applies for casual positions.
