We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Home Care team on a casual basis. This is an opportunity for you to make a positive contribution to the community, be part of a dynamic team and take on a rewarding role. About the Role: As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver and maintain high-quality care whilst optimising clients' well-being in accordance with the philosophy and policies of St Louis Home Care. You will ultimately be helping St Louis’ much respected clients to live a better-quality life staying as involved as possible whilst living in their own homes. To be successful in this role you will have: Genuine commitment to the care of the elderly Able to work autonomously Aged care industry or similar experience Knowledge and understanding of all legislative requirements A collaborative approach and an ability to work as part of a team Essentials: Flu Vaccination ongoing National Police Check (No more than 2 years old) Current unrestricted AHPRA registration Unrestricted SA Driver's License Rights to work in Australia Qualifications / Experience: Bachelor of Nursing 3 years of experience working as a Registered Nurse in Aged Care is preferred Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards Understanding Home Care Packages would be advantageous Experience and knowledge in Dementia care and behaviour management Experience in wound care and medication management About St Louis: St Louis Care is an innovative, family-owned company delivering bespoke, person-centred support since 1946.
