About the Role As a Registered Nurse at Anglicare, you will play a critical role in delivering holistic and person-centered care. You’ll work collaboratively with clients, their families, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care. Key Responsibilities Provide compassionate, respectful care tailored to the unique needs of each client. Conduct comprehensive assessments, care planning, and implementation in collaboration with clients and teams. Deliver clinical care, including routine (e.g., injections, wound care) and non-routine (e.g., illnesses, falls) interventions, ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines. Act as a professional resource for GPs and health practitioners in managing clients’ medical needs. Maintain accurate and timely documentation to meet organizational, legislative, and funding requirements. Engage in professional development through clinical supervision, training, and relevant courses. Foster a respectful, culturally sensitive work environment, valuing all individuals’ backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Actively participate in the continuous improvement of policies, procedures, and work practices. Contribute to team goals through knowledge sharing, peer supervision, and collaborative planning. Qualifications Full registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA. A current driver’s license. Previous experience in aged care (desirable).
