Minimum Requirements: Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse. Demonstrated recent clinical experience as a Registered Nurse that applies to surgical clinical setting. Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating with others. Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations. Current computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems. Demonstrated ability to advocate for and implement person-centred practice. Demonstrated application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to patient care. Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise own workload.
