The Opportunity Are you a Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care? Mount Hospital is seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses (Postgraduate Critical Care/ICU Cert) with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high-quality patient-centred care, to join our established nursing team. Key functions include: Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with patients, families, staff and VMOs from diverse backgrounds and cultures Providing exceptional customer service, person-centred and evidence-based care Working as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team, managing own work time and personal well-being Contributing to quality improvement to support evidence-based practice About You You will be an experienced ICU Registered Nurse - essential Cardio-thoracic ICU who enjoys working in a supportive multidisciplinary environment across multiple specialities and has an understanding of patient care in a private hospital setting. To be successful in this role, you will have: Postgraduate Critical Care/ICU Cert (essential or currently studying towards) Minimum of 5 years ICU experience essential in cardiothoracic, vascular, orthopaedics, neurosurgery or general surgery Compliance with NSQHS National standards Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills A commitment to providing excellent patient-centred care An ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and model Healthscope’s values About Us Located near King’s Park, Mount Private Hospital is Western Australia’s leading private provider of Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery supported by the largest private Critical Care Unit (CCU).
