Registered Nurse - Medical - Short term contract - Mackay Location: Central QLD RegionCompany: Nursing Jobs Australia Description: Mackay Base Hospital requires Registered Nurses for their Medical ward! The G2 Ward is a 28-bed adult medical unit which has the capacity to expand to 30 beds if required. The unit provides multi-disciplinary assessment, management, and care to general medical patients inclusive of Oncology, Cardiology, Respiratory, Renal, and Acute General Medicine. Start Dates: 23.12.24 - 30.03.25 06.01.25 - 30.03.25 13.01.25 - 30.03.25 Mandatory Experience: A minimum of 2 years’ Medical experience Good computer literacy skills Mandatory Competencies: BLS competency Manual and patient handling Infection control Aggressive behaviour management Mandatory reporting by Registered Nurses, and/or Midwifes for reasonable suspicions of child abuse and neglect Medications management including QPHS (Drugs and Poisons) Regulations November 2012 *Additional competencies may be requested by the health service* Inclusions: Great agency rates Accommodation provided Travel assistance To Apply: By clicking on 'Apply Now' you will register your interest to work.
