Registered Nurse - Post Anaesthetic Care Unit Logan Hospital is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Registered Nurses for future casual, temporary full-time, and part-time opportunities over the next 12 months in the Peri-Anaesthetic Unit. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred care to patients while maintaining professional nursing standards and supporting efficient resource use. About the Role Provide safe, compassionate, evidence-based, person-centred care, ensuring clinical standards, quality frameworks, and professional accountability. This includes planning, implementing, and evaluating care in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Adhere to and contribute to the development of guidelines, protocols, and quality initiatives. Maintain proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and ensure a safe, compliant environment aligned with risk and quality frameworks. Promote lifelong learning through mentorship and education of patients, families, and staff. Apply evidence-based practice, engage in research, and strive for continuous improvement in patient outcomes. Role model clinical excellence, foster collaborative relationships with interprofessional teams, and actively support the Nursing Leadership Team in achieving unit and organisational goals while maintaining a positive workplace culture. Eligibility Requirements Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster. Participate on an on-call roster. This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle. Must hold appropriate work rights to work in Australia.
