The new state of the art facility includes: More operating theatres and recovery spaces Expanded emergency department Enhanced medical, surgical, and mental health services Enhanced ambulatory care services including more outpatient clinics New interventional cardiology service New radiotherapy service as part of a new integrated cancer care service About the role In this role, the successful candidate is required to coordinate and deliver high quality person-centred nursing care in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Standards for Practice for Registered Nurses and the Policies and Procedures of the Ministry of Health (MoH) and Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD). The Registered Nurse will work in keeping with the expectations set by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) regarding patient care, radiation safety and quality with the intention of assisting the radiographer and/or radiologist achieve optimal imaging at minimal radiation exposure. The Registered Nurse will play a pivotal role in ensuring pre and post-procedure patient care is managed at standards expected by RANZCR.
