Job Description

Registered Nurse Sexual Health & Sexual Assault Response Service South West Hospital and Health Service has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our Sexual Assault Response Service, based at the Roma Hospital. Join us in building better health in the bush! You will provide exceptional client centred nursing care within the rural/remote context and will support the Social Worker and Clinical Nurse Consultant to provide a districtwide service. In addition, you will deliver clinical skills and knowledge related to Sexual Health, nursing interventions related to the prevention, treatment, and management of blood borne viruses, and STIs, inclusive of the full spectrum of Sexual and Reproductive health care priorities outlined in the Queensland Health Sexual Health Strategy. This position will be required to travel and work across South West Hospital and Health Services facilities. The very nature of what we do and who we are is the real opportunity.
