About the role Due to a growing business need, we have a wonderful opportunity for a Psychologist with experience in adult/child mental health and NDIS available. This role will be responsible for providing assessments and treatment for patients with a range of presenting issues. This role reports directly to the Psychologist Team Lead and is a work-from-home (WFH) position offering part-time hours. You’ll have the freedom to choose your own days and structure your week to suit your lifestyle. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality specialist care to clients to optimise and improve their health and functional outcomes Effectively manage a designated caseload Liaise and build rapport with clients, their families, and other members of their support network Provide a range of Psychology assessments and interventions via Telehealth to assist clients to maximise their participation, independence, and wellbeing Empower clients and their families to make positive choices related to community supports and independence Make recommendations relating to interventions that meet best practice and legislative guidelines Evaluate Psychology intervention programs and modify plans as required to facilitate the achievement of goals Initiate funding requests for ongoing Psychology intervention and follow- up approvals Ensure that clinical processes reflect best practice and are of the highest industry standard Be receptive to feedback regarding performance and participate in structured performance appraisals Maintain a high standard of communication for the management of your caseload Ensure Psychology services are responsive to client needs and goals Skills and Experience Must have hands-on experience working with NDIS and writing NDIS reports. Ability to utilise video telehealth technology to perform thorough and accurate medical assessments. Effective communication with operational support teams and patients is essential. Experience using scheduling platforms to maintain and update availability for telehealth services. Experience working with clients across all age groups. Proven experience working with neurodiverse clients.
