Various locations across the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Emergency Medicine Registrars or Principal House Officers to join our training network of Emergency Departments within the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS). Multiple positions available with negotiable hours and flexible duration of employment. We are looking for ACEM and ACRRM trainees who are passionate about delivering excellent emergency medical care and motivated to immerse themselves within our established training network, to maximise their training potential. The Registrar/Principal House Officer will provide services in accordance with the policies and procedures of the department of Emergency Medicine, the Health Service and Queensland Health. Special interest opportunities exist for trainees to engage specialties including: Internationally recognised Geriatric Emergency Department initiative Residential Aged Care Support Service (RASS) ICU and Anaesthetics LifeFlight Ultrasound Registrar and Simulation Registrar We offer protected teaching time to attend our dedicated Trainee program, catering to trainees of all stages of ACEM training. Exam specific education sessions to help trainees prepare for their exams, including Mock exam opportunities. Key Responsibilities include: Maintain up to date skills in Emergency Medicine. Provide high quality, safe medical care and advice to patients presenting to the departments of Emergency Medicine. Participate in the training of junior medical staff. Salary between $4822.20 - $5591.00 p.f. (f/t) or salary rates: $78.04 - $90.48 p.h.(casual) employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (f/t) (L4 - L9) (Fixed term temporary full-time positions, 76 hrs p.f. + casual positions, non-standard hours) until February 2025.
