Job Description

This is a newly created Reinsurance Operations Manager position to join a well-established and successful Insurance provider. Leading a small team, you will be responsible for managing the purchase and maintenance of several Reinsurance Treaty arrangements ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be involved in the day-to-day operations, including overseeing renewals, coordinating with Brokers and Reinsurers, and maintaining accurate reinsurance submissions. Key Responsibilities: Manage the outward reinsurance process, ensuring treaties provide the necessary coverage. Coordinate renewals and endorsements with brokers and reinsurers. Maintain reinsurance agreements and ensure compliance with relevant standards. Provide support in the preparation and submission of reinsurance reports. What We’re Looking For: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Reinsurance operations or a similar role in general insurance. Solid understanding of Reinsurance arrangements and the associated operational processes. Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple reinsurance treaties. Flexibility: Enjoy the option of WFH flexibility.
