About Our Client Our client is a multinational organisation leader in the Packaging industry. Following the new strategy aimed at maximizing productivity and expand market shares, they have recently invested on a multi-millionaire production plant in Brisbane.As a result, the Maintenance department is looking for talented and high-skilled Reliability Engineers who will be responsible for providing engineering support as well as participant in CAPEX activities.All Engineering disciplines (such as mechanical, electrical, electronics, chemical) are welcomed at this stage Job Description The Reliability Engineer will have the following responsibilities: Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures and methods in regards to both predictive and preventive maintenance programs. Lead the deployment of IWS systems and practices related to equipment reliability, such as Planned Maintenance and Autonomous Maintenance. Drive reliability improvement initiatives and programs aimed at minimising downtime and improve equipment reliability. Provide technical advice and guidance to the team required expectations and objectives. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies. Work closely with other team members and departments to improve overall operations. Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards. The Successful Applicant A successful Reliability Engineer should have: A degree in Engineering - no matter the specific major, any engineering discipline will be considered. Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on reliability engineering or maintenance leadership. Strong understanding of Integrated Work System (IWS) methodologies, including Planned Maintenance, Focused Improvement, and Autonomous Maintenance. Hands-on experience with predictive maintenance techniques such as vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis. The ability to develop and implement reliability strategies and programs. Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication and team-working skills. Proficiency in using CMM Systems (CMMS).
