We are seeking a talented Reporting and Analytics Specialist to revolutionise how we leverage data for the benefit of our Young People. Your focus: Build from the Ground Up: Establish our Business Intelligence (BI) capability, transforming raw data into actionable insights. Empower the Team: Develop a suite of user-friendly reports and dashboards, freeing up valuable time for our staff to focus on what they do best. Unleash the Power of Data: Dive deep into teaching and learning data to uncover hidden trends, inform decision-making, and bring efficiencies. St Joseph’s utilises the following technology which will be the data sources of the reporting platform: Teams, SharePoint, TASS Web (for Student Administration), Canvas, Microsoft Teams, Clickview, Education Perfect, ELMO. Your skills and talents: You enjoy empowering staff to deliver impactful outcomes using data. Experience in building BI solutions from scratch, ideally in the education sector. A passion for data and a knack for turning complex information into simple, compelling stories. A collaborative mindset and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders. The Role This role is a full-time 1.0FTE ongoing position at our Fitzroy North office, working both in the office and from home, with travel to school sites. You will be employed on an ongoing basis, commencing in January 2025, and will be employed under the Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022. The salary will be in the range of Education Support Employee Level 5 $110,431 to $121,906 (depending on qualifications and experience), plus superannuation and leave loading. You will need: Ability to commit to and work within our Operating Principles: Respect, Participation, Safe and Legal, and Honesty. Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics or related field. Demonstrated experience in a similar role. The ability to inspire and engage with young people. Previous experience in the education sector is highly desirable. Ability to obtain and maintain a Victorian Working with Children Check and provide a National Police Check certificate (issued within the last six months).
