This role reports into the Head of Business Controls Office (BCO) where you’ll be responsible for leading and developing data driven insights, managing and developing Database / Dashboards. You’ll assist in rolling out and developing the BI solution in order to support BCO, business & risk teams across the organisation in ensuring a proactive approach towards risk management. ING Australia’s Business Controls Office is responsible for the Operational, Regulatory and Compliance Risk activities undertaken in the 1st Line of Defence for COO. Are you ready to drive a mature approach on data risk and controls? What you’ll do: Own accountability for BCO’s Non-Financial Risk (NFR) reporting such as issue, event & Key Control Testing (KCT) management & Non-Financial Risk Dashboard (NFRD) reporting. Maintain existing control monitoring dashboards, assisting business partners to answer with data & utilising data to drive efficiencies in controls. Assess existing data quality dimensions and controls to identify if there are any gaps. Manage and monitor data duality in Connexa. Support any other ad hoc projects from COO Leaders, business teams and your immediate team to support decision making and key project deliverables. What we’re looking for: Experience utilising metadata management, including business glossaries. A passion for data & data modelling. Immaculate technical data skillset, able to draw insights and conclusions from BM/DI tools such as SQL, Server, Tableau and Teradata. Plus any exposure to EL tools is highly advantageous. 5+ years in risk or data analyst positions with an ability to generate commercial insights, with 8+ years in highly regulated industry and 3+ years in a dashboard and reporting role; risk and compliance is highly desirable. Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
