Position Summary: The Research Assistant will be part of a dynamic, capable research group conducting research that aims to improve patient management and patient well-being, with direct clinical relevance. The Research Assistant, under direction from the CRU manager, will work closely with CRU research staff to provide support for a variety of research-related activities, enabling them to successfully contribute to all aspects of clinical research project implementation, coordination, and conducting participant study visits, within the hospital, outpatient, or the community. Responsibilities: Conduct data collection from medical records and medication charts. Perform data entry into study databases. Assist in the maintenance of research documentation and records both onsite and offsite. Qualifications and Experience Required: Essential: Experience in research, preferably in infectious diseases. A current Victorian Drivers Licence. Desirable: Knowledge of the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research, Good Clinical Practice, and Guidelines governing clinical research.
