About the Role This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated researcher with a strong interest in health economics of chronic disease. The ideal candidate will be eager to drive meaningful change through extensive collaborations and the use of cutting-edge simulation modeling techniques. The successful candidate is expected to support, develop, and manage a program of health economics under the direction of A/Prof An Duy Tran. The appointee will also provide support to health economics research related to clinical studies and contribute to the grant application development that fosters new collaborations and secures funding. Your responsibilities will include: Contributing to a range of health economic projects, including economic evaluations alongside clinical trials and simulation modelling in disease areas such as chronic kidney disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and diabetes. Providing support for the development of grant applications, including contributions to health economic study designs and analysis plans. Producing and assisting with preparing high-quality research outputs, including methodological and empirical research findings, for publication in peer-reviewed journals. Disseminating research findings through scientific meetings, including seminars, workshops, and conferences. Who We Are Looking For We are seeking individuals with exceptional quantitative skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a self-driven commitment to conducting impactful research in health economics and simulation modelling.
