Part-time (0.5 FTE), fixed term position available immediately for a period of 12 months JBI, situated within the School of Public Health, is an international research organisation that develops and delivers unique evidence-based information, software, education and training designed to improve healthcare practice and health outcomes. JBI has a mission focused, positive workplace culture that supports and develops staff skills and knowledge in evidence-based healthcare. The successful candidate will contribute to synthesis research methodology programs and will be involved in methodological developmental work and provide administrative, technical, and research support to the NHMRC Investigator (EL1) grant holder. The successful candidate will manage reporting requirements, the team inbox, provide research support, support post-award management, help streamline processes and procedures for the Investigator Grant team, and assist with other consultancy and contract research activities. The successful applicant will work closely with students and the research team, and some national and international travel may be required. To be successful you will need: Knowledge and Experience: Demonstrative experience in the provision of administrative, research, grant and project support services. Demonstrated experience communicating, both verbally and in writing, in a succinct, professional and responsive manner to deliver client centric results. Demonstrated experience setting and meeting deadlines and applying well-developed interpersonal skills to promote a positive team environment. Sound computing skills, including using the Microsoft Office suite, conducting literature searches, and maintaining an Endnote library. Demonstrated ability to promote the organisational values of integrity, respect, collegiality, excellence and discovery, and a commitment to positively comply with the associated behaviour expectations. Demonstrated understanding of scientific/research processes and terminology. Experience in planning and conducting systematic reviews (desirable). Qualification/s: Completion of a degree without subsequent relevant work experience in public health, health sciences or administrative fields; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education and/or training in a health field.
