No Offer Description Overview The School of Engineering at Edith Cowan University, Western Australia's leading public university, invites applications for a Research Fellow position in our Centre for Sustainable Energy and Resources (CSER). We are seeking an innovative and dedicated individual to contribute to our ongoing research initiatives aimed at sustainable energy solutions. You will be a vital catalyst in the transition to sustainable energy practices. As a Research Fellow at the Centre for Sustainable Energy and Resources, you will have the unique opportunity to shape future energy solutions and resource management strategies. Your research will not just be academic; it will be a blueprint for change, influencing policy, and driving innovation in sustainable technologies. You'll be supported by a team of leading researchers and have access to state-of-the-art facilities, all while contributing to a more sustainable and equitable world. Responsibilities Conduct high-quality research in the area of sustainable energy and resources. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of researchers. Publish findings in reputed journals. Assist in grant applications. Mentor graduate and undergraduate students in research. Experience in material synthesis for separation and purification technologies. Flow through porous media/membranes. Contaminant transport in porous media/reactive flow through porous media. Expertise in laboratory experiments. Qualifications PhD in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Personal Excellence, and Courage. Benefits & Remuneration This full-time, fixed-term position attracts remuneration of $113,918 to $134,596 p.a plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
