The Opportunity As our Revenue & Reservations Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing revenue management strategies to optimise room revenue and occupancy levels. You will monitor and analyse market trends, competitor performance, and economic indicators to refine pricing and inventory management strategies. In addition, you will oversee the reservations process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in booking procedures and system operations. You will manage distribution channels, including online travel agencies (OTAs) and direct booking platforms. Your Day-to-day Develop and implement effective revenue management strategies to maximise room revenue and occupancy. Analyse market trends, competitor performance, and customer behaviour to inform pricing decisions. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align revenue strategies with overall business goals. Oversee the reservations process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in booking procedures and systems. Manage distribution channels, including online travel agencies (OTAs), global distribution systems (GDS), and direct booking platforms. Prepare and present regular revenue reports and forecasts to senior management. Ensure optimal use of revenue management systems and tools. Train and mentor the reservations team to ensure high standards of service and efficiency. Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including travel agents, corporate clients, and third-party partners. You Will Have Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue management or reservations management in the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel setting. Exceptional analytical skills with a proven history of achieving and exceeding revenue targets. Expertise in using revenue management systems, property management software, and Microsoft Office programs. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to foster collaboration and maintain strong stakeholder relationships. The ability to perform effectively under pressure and adapt to evolving market conditions. Strong attention to detail, coupled with excellent organisational and problem-solving capabilities.
