The role: Responsible for the day-to-day management of private and public inpatients and outpatients within the Hospital (or rural facility). Provide after-hours emergency cover as determined by the relevant work unit. Rotations to Rural Practice sites across the state are available. Contribute to working a variety of shifts including days, afternoons, and nights, including weekdays and weekends. Applicants who hold or are eligible for limited or provisional registration with the Medical Board of Australia are eligible to apply for these positions. What's on offer? We are currently seeking applications for Resident Medical Officers to work across both hospitals. Details of appointment: Multiple Fixed term full-time, day worker (with on-call) position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for a twelve-month period. *Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. RMOs: Resident Medical Officers Level 2 - 4 $95,275 - $108,150 per annum, pro rata + 11.5% superannuation + access to salary packaging Salary range is in accordance with Medical Practitioners Agreement 2022 Eligibility: Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria as follows: General or unconditional registration with the Medical Board of Australia Current Working with Children Registration (where applicable and as determined by individual position requirements) *Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times while employed in this role.
