Resident Medical Officers - Expression of Interest Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service welcomes expressions of interest from Resident Medical Officers at the level of Junior and Senior House Officer seeking an opportunity to provide comprehensive day-to-day medical services to all patients presenting to the health service. RESIDENT MEDICAL OFFICERS - EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST Opportunities exist for Resident Medical Officers (RMOs) at the level of Junior and Senior House Officer to provide comprehensive day-to-day medical services to all patients presenting to the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service. These positions are intended for medical officers to maximize professional development with a view to independent practice or proceeding to specialist training. At the Sunshine Coast, RMO term rotations are streamed. Term rotation combinations have been developed to align with both the vocational training pathways and offer prevocational experiences for doctors undecided on a specialist path. As an RMO, you will work collaboratively with others and demonstrate commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, clinical risk management, and evidence-based practice and research for performance improvement. The allocation of clinical placements will be designated with the respective allocated departments and in turn to the Health Services Director Medical Services. Key Responsibilities include: The rotational Resident Medical Officer is responsible to the Senior Medical Officers to whom they are assigned for maintaining the highest professional standards of practice and care. Assist in the planning of clinical care. Document progress by regular observation, review, and organization of data. Salary rates: $3743.20 - $4031.00 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (L2 - L3) (temporary full-time positions, 76 hrs p.f.) for up to 12 months.
