Full-time role at VMCH Bundoora Take ownership of operations at a 91-bed residence home with a memory support unit Competitive salary with NFP salary packaging benefits About the role As a Residential Services Manager at Bundoora Aged Care Residence, you will utilise your experience in a similar role to provide leadership and efficient operational management, ensuring our residents always receive the best care possible. Working closely with the General Manager, you will also be responsible for the performance of the facility with regards to budget management, employee engagement, quality assurance, and clinical care. VMCH Bundoora is a dementia-specific aged care facility, offering 13 memory support rooms designed to provide specialised care and support for people living with dementia. About you You have previously held a leadership position within the aged care services sector, demonstrating your ability to work unsupervised and promote a positive workplace environment. You are an effective communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills, building strong relationships with stakeholders and valuing patience, common sense, and compassion. You naturally relate to older people and understand the issues related to the services they require. You possess well-developed prioritisation and organisational skills, with experience meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks. Requirements Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) Knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Act, ACFI, Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards, and relevant legislation Working knowledge of Health Care/Aged Care information management systems, Microsoft Office applications, email, and the internet Why VMCH?
