We're on the lookout for experienced and skilled Plant Operators to help us maintain the roads, carparks and clear the snow this winter! The opportunity: We're on the lookout for experienced and skilled Plant Operators to help us maintain the roads, carparks and clear the snow providing our guests safe and easy access across the village and wider resort.Working closely with the Assets and Operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining daily log books, overseeing machinery maintenance like refueling, greasing, and cleaning as well as providing support to the wider ARV team, with tasks such as setting up and taking down winter infrastructure.Join us and be part of the team that keeps Mt Hotham Alpine Resort buzzing during the busy winter season! Key accountabilities: Provide support to the Assets and Operations Team to ensure safe and reliable access to public car parks, accessways, and essential service areas through efficient snow clearing operations. Coordinate plant and equipment daily, including conducting safety checks, managing lifting equipment and plant attachments, and addressing maintenance requirements. Assist the Assets and Operations Team by applying plant and equipment operating skills for resort operations, infrastructure operations, maintenance, and other works as needed. Skills, experience and qualifications: Current First Aid Certificate and CPR qualifications Work Safely in the Construction Industry CPCCOHS1001A (White Card) Backhoe, loader and other plant specific licences/tickets Minimum five years’ experience in plant operations in built up environments Managing working alone and various operational conditions Demonstrated experience working safely and adapting to changeable weather conditions and night work Knowledge of alpine areas and Mt Hotham in particular Salary: $42.53 - $46.18 p/h including casual loading How to apply: Click on "Apply" and upload your resume and cover letter, detailing your suitability and how you meet the key accountabilities and experience required.Applications will be reviewed daily so do not delay submitting your application.
