We are seeking an Assistant Depot Manager to join a well-established recyclable business, playing a key role in daily operations and team leadership in Mackay!About The Role As an Assistant Depot Manager, you will support the Depot Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows, and maintaining high safety and compliance standards. You will also lead and motivate a team to drive productivity and sustainability goals.Key Responsibilities Assist in managing depot operations, including logistics, inventory, and team performance Lead, coach, and develop a team to meet operational targets Maintain high safety, environmental, and compliance standards Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and sustainability Ensure customer service excellence and effective stakeholder communication Skills & Experience Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within logistics, warehousing, recycling, or a similar environment Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team Knowledge of workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations Problem-solving ability and a hands-on approach to operations Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to obtain a forklift licence (or currently hold one) Benefits & Rewards Competitive salary of $66,500 to $68,000 + Super Sunday to Thursday roster, providing work-life balance Opportunity to work with a business making a positive environmental impact Career growth and development within a dynamic industry If you are ready to take the next step in your leadership career and contribute to a sustainable future, apply today!
