We are currently seeking customer-focused, experienced Retail Assistant Managers to join our team at the following locations: Cooktown Atherton Tablelands Edmonton Tully Mirriwinni In this role, you will support the daily operations of the store, assist with team leadership, and ensure a high standard of customer service. The role requires availability to work across store trading hours, including weekends, as well as experience in the safe handling and preparation of takeaway food. Additionally, you will be responsible for merchandising and stock rotation, so you must be physically capable of lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods. As a Retail Assistant Manager , you take pride in the success and presentation of your site and have a great attention to detail. You will be required to assist the Site Manager in all daily operations of the site, which includes: Meeting assigned budgets and KPIs Staff rostering, mentoring, and training Food preparation and handling Volume cash handling and reconciliations Providing exceptional customer service and operating the console Merchandising, marketing, and stock management - receipting inward goods, lifting, restocking, and layout variations Ensuring food safety standards are adhered to and followed The Successful Applicant: Passionate about providing exceptional customer service A role model for fellow employees Experience in a similar role Ability to maneuver heavy objects (lift up to 20kgs) Outstanding communication across all levels Works well in a team environment A flexible attitude that will grow and change with the business An unforgettable presence in customer relations If you have a passion for retail management, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and are ready to take the next step in your retail career, please apply.
