As a member of the TJX Australia Real Estate & Property Development team, the Retail Lease Administrator will communicate and work effectively with internal stakeholders and landlords to support assigned initiatives regarding various lease agreements. We are seeking future leaders and this is an exceptional chance to build a career as a fully rounded professional. As a Retail Lease Administrator you will: Organise and maintain the lease management system (currently Lucernex/REALM), inputting new leases, modifying data to reflect lease renewals and amendments, and change of contact information. Review new lease documents and prepare lease abstract. Communicate information regarding new leases and renewals to internal departments and maintain associated reports outside of Lucernex. Request contact information from landlords, invoices, arrange and request fitout contribution collection. Prepare option exercise notices, lease extension agreements, license agreements, and other template documentation as required and coordinate execution with the Legal department. Review and interpret lease documentation as required in response to questions from internal departments and landlords and ensure appropriate action is taken to ensure compliance with lease. Track/monitor the performance of all lease and tenancy agreements by ensuring the tracking report & Lucernex system updates are always up to date and critical dates & information are captured. Ensure approval of all rent invoices and ensure all rents are paid in accordance with leases and side agreements. Sound understanding of the Retail Leases Act nationally. Strong understanding of contract management and negotiation of lease documentation. Ability to set priorities and meet tight deadlines and contribute in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team atmosphere. Self-starter with the ability to work independently. Strong communication and report writing skills. Excellent Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel, including accurate data inputting skills. Ability to communicate across all levels of the business, with the Legal Department and Landlords. Personable, confident, and articulate. We're all about our people.
