We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Operations Manager to sit within the Senior Retail team, alongside the Regional Sales Managers and to lead our retail operations function, acting as the key conduit between head office and the stores. The Role: As the Retail Operations Manager for Neve Jewels, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our retail operations function across our two key brands (Diamonds Factory, Austen & Blake). Key Responsibilities: Support the Senior Regional Manager ANZ, field team and stores in fostering a culture of superior customer service by setting high standards and monitoring customer feedback. Support the business in all initiatives to ensure the customer is at the heart of everything – referring to customer in all relevant tools and communication. Ensure the store teams are front and centre as the ‘customer’ for Head office – helping to provide the best communication and tools available to enable store teams to deliver. Sales and Revenue Growth: Support the Senior Regional Manager ANZ in driving sales growth through effective visual merchandising, product knowledge training, and customer engagement strategies. Support the RSMs and the business with daily, weekly, regular and ad hoc reports ensuring they are produced in agreed format and by set timeframes. New Reports are introduced and formatted in the most efficient way for end users, leveraging key stakeholders within the business to support. Support the Retail Director and Regional Sales team in generating regular reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and other key performance indicators. Communication: Act as a key conduit and first point of contact between stores and all key departments using all the business tools available – email, Asana, Canva. Ensure accurate and relevant communication is consistently produced for stores, RSMs and the wider business. Streamline communication into an engaging weekly newsletter, reducing number of store emails and ensuring disciplines are in place with all Head office stakeholders. Develop and maintain good relationships with external vendors to support the Neve business. Work closely with the Senior Regional Manager ANZ to provide direction to the Visual Merchandiser ensuring guidelines are set, store layouts are visually appealing and displays reflect the brand's image and enhance the customer experience. Provide clear direction and support to the Visual Merchandiser to enable them to execute their role effectively. Operational Efficiency: Work closely with the Senior Regional Manager ANZ to streamline retail operations to maximise efficiency and reduce operational costs. Think outside the box and encourage all key stakeholders to do the same to ensure the business is operating to its best potential. Training: Work with the Senior Regional Manager ANZ, People team and Regional Sales managers to identify key training needs and knowledge gaps. Partner with the new Training manager to produce tools to assist training roll out. Budget Management: Work with the Senior Regional Manager ANZ and Regional Sales managers to develop and manage the retail budget, monitor expenses, and ensure profitability. Help to provide a framework for all to easily follow with clear timelines. Compliance/Inventory management: Ensure that all stores adhere to company policies, procedures, and legal requirements by producing clear Standard Operating Procedures with timelines and follow up, working cross-functionally to deliver. Responsible for updating and maintaining a central Standard Operating hub to house all SOPs, working with each Neve department for the latest updates. Oversee inventory control processes to optimise stock levels, minimise losses, and ensure product/sample availability. Be an active advocate for Risk Management, representing the Retail team centrally when required. Expansion: Support the Country Manager and Regional Sales managers in opening of new locations. Qualifications & Experience: Proven experience as a Retail Operations manager or Regional management role within the jewellery or luxury fashion and accessories industry. Must be based in Australia. Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of building high-performing teams. In-depth knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and visual merchandising. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making. Familiarity with jewellery products, trends, and industry best practices. Proficiency in retail software and systems. Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills.
