Location: Fremantle and Rottnest Island (commuting), Western Australia The Risk Advisory and Governance Officer is primarily responsible for managing and coordinating risk treatment and advice across the agency, including in relation to visitor risk and work health and safety. In addition, the officer will provide analysis, consultation and advisory services in managing RIA’s governance framework, including RIA Policies and Guidelines, the Business Continuity Plan and the RIA Schedule of Delegations and Authorisations. Selection Criteria Demonstrated experience in risk management including risk identification, treatment, and risk reporting. Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve effective outcomes. Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to prepare a variety of documents including complex correspondence, policies, proposals, submissions and governance framework materials. Demonstrated ability to undertake research, conduct analysis and evaluation, and provide advice and interpretation on complex matters including policies and procedures.
