About Your Opportunity Reporting to our Principal Enterprise Risk, you will partner with stakeholders to ensure the effective identification, assessment, treatment and ongoing management of risks in pursuit of Seqwater’s strategic and operational objectives. You will act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on risk-related matters and enabling a proactive approach to managing risks across the organisation. Key responsibilities: Act as a business partner to key business stakeholders, providing expert second-line support in risk identification, assessment, escalation, de-escalation, and monitoring. Facilitate risk workshops, working closely with stakeholders to develop and implement effective risk treatment plans that align with the organisation’s objectives. Provide expert risk management advice at all levels of the organisation, ensuring consistent application of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF), including developing and providing guidance on risk management policies and operational matters to support risk owners. Develop and deliver comprehensive risk management training and coaching programs to enhance risk awareness and capability across the business. Monitor and maintain Seqwater’s risk profile, ensuring all risks are managed within the Board’s risk appetite, including actively scanning for emerging risks and trends that may impact the business’s objectives. About you To be successful in this role, you will possess: Tertiary qualification in risk management or a related field (e.g., engineering, environmental sciences, project management, organisational resilience), or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 3 to 6 years’ experience in a risk management role or similar experience. Experience in developing and implementing risk management frameworks and policies. Alignment with Seqwater values. Experience in the water industry, particularly in areas related to environmental risk, operational safety, and regulatory compliance. Accreditation as a Certified Practicing Risk Associate (CPRA) by RMIA or similar. Familiarity with business continuity planning, incident and emergency management. Unrestricted drivers’ license for a motor vehicle. This position has a salary range of $118,579.95 - $129,013.30 (dependent on experience) plus 12.75% superannuation. Appointment to this role is subject to the provision of a national police check and may be subject to other medical/character requirements.
