You will join a fintech who provides AI lending with unique business to consumer and business to business offerings. Based in Sydney you will join their established team lead by renowned professionals from the banking and fintech markets. Your new role As a Risk and Compliance, Senior Analyst you will have a varied role offering huge exposure: Assurance testing in areas including business, technology, product & people Uplifting the risk register, simplifying it for line 1 whilst listening & providing advice to the business 2nd line review of transaction monitoring & AML Regulatory reform monitoring including law changes, AML, AI regulation and privacy Global regulation, policy and ACL work Company Secretary and governance duties including collating papers and board packs as well as regularly assisting with marketing reviews What you'll need to succeed Controls testing and knowledge of the fundamentals, clearly understanding 2nd line Experience in an oversight, second line role with working knowledge in testing privacy controls, AML controls and other compliance controls The ability to listen, understand pain points, provide advice through knowledge and proactive research Strong initiative, self interest and a driven and motivated personality Confidence and comfort to have challenging conversations, a hands-on approach and someone who is forward thinking and versatile Experience in a consulting firm or non-bank lender will be highly regarded What you'll get in return Join a successful and forward-thinking AI lending fintech with B2B and B2C lines of business who will be developing current and building new products in the future within Australia and globally Work in a role where every day is different, where you will experience huge exposure and work directly with C suite individuals who are well respected in their fields Significant opportunity to uplift, develop and implement the risk culture plan for the business Earn $120k package + bonus + benefits working from a fresh and modern, well-equipped office in Sydney’s CBD Work flexibly, in a supportive, social & inspiring environment with 3 days in the office and 2 days work from home Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Analyst Industries Banking and Financial Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
