Risk Executive, Credit Hindsight The role is putting the customer at the centre of our risk decisions. You will be part of an experienced, passionate and dynamic team, looking at the bigger picture and playing a key role in supporting credit excellence within CBA. See yourself in our team The Portfolio Oversight (also known as Credit Hindsight) Team provides independent Line 2 credit assurance of the application of credit risk policies, processes, and risk appetite throughout the Group, with a particular focus on Business Banking (BB). PO adds value to the business units reviewed by providing feedback and insights on the quality and appropriateness of credit decisions. Do work that matters Joining at an exciting time, and as Risk Executive reporting into our Executive Manager, Portfolio Oversight, you have the chance to be part of a professional team generating high quality reviews and insights to business and risk stakeholders to secure the financial wellbeing of the Bank's customers. The role will see you undertake Hindsight reviews on credit applications, consistent with PO’s methodology to identify relevant credit issues across BU's, regions and industries having regard to the Group's credit policies, standards and procedures while exercising sound commercial judgement. We're interested in hearing from people who have Demonstrated credit experience (ideally +7 years) across Commercial or Corporate Banking segments incorporating a diversity of industries/customers (including Line 1 and/or Line 2 roles). Experience in Group Credit Structuring or non-retail workouts will be highly regarded. Ability to undertake credit risk analysis and raise high quality insights. Ability to self-manage workload to meet team objectives, targets and proactively contribute to broader team initiatives / continuous improvement. Sound communication and influencing skills.
