About the Role As a Risk Manager in our Home Loans and Unsecured team, you’ll play a key role in helping to ensure the effective execution of ANZ’s credit risk governance frameworks and activities relevant to retail credit risk (home loans and unsecured), from a second line perspective to support the delivery of Business Owners Home Owners (BOHO) Program. As a Risk Manager, you will: Contribute to broader team development and capability uplift in order to enable delivery of current and future elements of long-term strategy. Build collaborative relationships with Australia and Global colleagues to enable objectives to be achieved and learnings shared. Maintain and manage WatchTower (SAS Viya dashboard) datasets relevant to BOHO Program. Deliver retail credit oversight, assurance and control effectiveness activities, including reporting to forums/committees, executives and their teams as required. Continually uplift credit risk governance, utilising automation (i.e. coded exception reports), independent data sources and exception reporting solutions wherever possible relevant to BOHO program. Oversee, review and challenge line 1 credit governance activities relevant to the BOHO program. Identify trends, risks, issues and opportunities; resolve them and/or report escalate to Senior Management as required. Ensure compliance with relevant internal and external credit risk governance legal and regulatory expectations for the BOHO program. What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Understanding and knowledge of retail credit risk policies, processes and requirements, relevant legislation and regulatory expectations. Proven technical capabilities and experience with data analytics/science and/or oversight systems, techniques and tools (i.e. SAS, Python, Tableau, SQL, etc.). Strong analytical, numerical, research and problem-solving proven ability to turn data into information and information into actionable strategy. Understanding of ANZ existing source and reporting systems. Excellence in being able to ruthlessly prioritise the things that matter, continuously questioning the relative value of planned and unplanned work. Ability to be agile whilst staying true to the agreed core priorities. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders across end-to-end value chain and to influence change. Collaborative mindset and driven towards efficiency and knowledge sharing within and across teams. Proven ability to communicate up (one level above) and amongst peer groups.
