What You’ll Be Doing… The Risk Specialist is responsible for delivering risk and crisis management initiatives and projects across the organisation. The position works with stakeholders to develop and implement tools and resources for risk management and crisis management activities and provides support to the Manager – Risk & WHS. Your Key Accountabilities Will Include Effectively support the delivery of key risk management and crisis management initiatives and projects across the organisation in accordance with legislative requirements and set timeframes of delivery. Ensure the scope of projects and initiatives meet stakeholder needs and identify and effectively manage project risks. Collaborate effectively within the team and across the organisation to ensure the success of risk management and crisis management initiatives and projects. Deliver professional and accurate written correspondence and documentation, including reports to Management and Corporate Governance Committee as required. Provide advice, support and guidance to the organisation in the processing and submission of complex insurance claims, whilst collaborating with key external stakeholders. About You... You will possess demonstrated experience working in a similar position or in a Risk & WHS environment providing specialist advice. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to tailor your message to support others to understand and interpret legislation. Whilst relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Project Management or Local Government Administration or a related discipline is highly desirable, we welcome applicants with demonstrated experience in a Risk & WHS environment or similar role.
