About the team: The role is an analyst function (Manager Title) reporting to Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk Management, supporting the management of Enterprise Risk for the Office of CRO Division. The initial focus of the role will be leading control remediation activities, coming out of a review of end to end data quality controls from source systems to Clearing Risk calculations. What you will be doing: Work with stakeholders across business lines to perform a root cause analysis on data quality incident(s) related to ASX’s role as a central counterparty clearing house. Work with Line 2 and Line 1 risk resources to propose and deliver remediation activities arising from that root cause analysis. Participate in the identification, recording, and assessment of technology risks and issues relating to control gaps and deficiencies. Work with other Risk Management teams on improving the identification, assessment and management of non-financial risks. What you will bring: Must have Gained 7+ years’ experience in Risk or Compliance related function preferably within the Financial Services Industry Control design and testing experience or exposure Understanding of technology risk environments and IT general controls Experience in a regulated environment, preferably in financial services Demonstrated the ability to build strong internal relationships Critical thinking with an analytical approach Ability to collaborate and work with multiple stakeholders to deliver a common goal Ability to work independently on multiple tasks with competing priorities Communication skills – excellent oral, written and presentation Data analytics and reporting experience Nice to have Understanding of different financial products Understanding of Market and/or clearing risk Experience in enhancing data governance and controls Root Cause Analysis and remediation experience We make hiring decisions based on your skills, capabilities and experience, and how you’ll help us to live our values.
