Job Description The Role NextSense has an exciting opportunity for a Risk and Work, Health & Safety Coordinator to join our team at Macquarie. This is a permanent full-time role, working 38 hours per week across 5 days and reports directly to the Director of People & Governance. You’ll make a difference in this role by: What we can offer you Competitive remuneration 100% salary packaging allowing you to increase your take-home pay Extensive personal/carer’s leave 2 weeks paid leave over Christmas in addition to 4 weeks annual leave Paid parental leave of 14 weeks for primary carer and 6 weeks for secondary carer Access to industry-leading education and professional development Collaborative work environment Wellbeing program including Employee Assistance Program Desired Skills and Experience To be successful in this role you'll need to demonstrate you meet the following selection criteria: A qualification in Work Health & Safety, Risk Management and/or a related field Experience in developing and implementing WHS management systems Experience in WHS risk management Strong understanding of relevant WHS legislation and regulations Experience in enterprise risk management Experience in conducting WHS audits and inspections Experience in developing and delivering WHS training Strong understanding of the Australian regulatory landscape Experience and/or understanding of relevant state and territory-specific WHS legislation and regulations requirements in NSW, QLD, Northern Territory, Victoria, Australian Capital Territory, and South Australia Experience in the not-for-profit industry Certification in risk management or a related field You are obliged to become familiar with, and comply with child protection policies and legislation, as amended from time to time.
