What’s on offer? We are looking for Crew Members to be part of our patching crew team which are part of the Sydney Road Asset Performance Contract working closely with Transport for NSW. Ideally, you will hold a HR or HC licence. The team is open to reviewing applications from both experienced candidates and those who are interested in making a start in the industry. You will be responsible for: Asphalt laying physical duties such as shovelling, raking, brooming Mobile plant operation (e.g. pavers, rollers, skid steers, cab coat truck) Road work construction and maintenance and safe operation near live traffic Toolbox meetings, pre-starts, risk assessments and project specific data capture Other tasks include driving flowcon, vegetation control, graffiti removal, pot hole repairs We're looking for candidates who have asphalt/industry experience or a desire to learn and progress in a new industry. Candidates will need to have: Availability to work overtime, weekends and nights when required A current vehicle licence (HR or HC licence beneficial) Construction induction card Mobile plant experience would be beneficial An interest in working outdoors, in all weather conditions. Positions are based at our McGraths Hill depot with some shifts required around Rydalmere. The pre-employment process will include a medical check, including drug and alcohol screening.
