Job Description: Creating and maintaining an inclusive, fun, safe, healthy, productive and effective learning environment. Ensuring all health, safety and centre policies are adhered to along with licensing, legislation & regulations. Contributing to the effective operation of the workplace by supporting colleagues, sharing ideas and information, and working collaboratively in our team. Essential Skills and Experience: Tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care approved by ACECQA. Knowledge and understanding of Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS). Current Working with Children check, First-Aid Certificate, emergency Asthma management, and Anaphylaxis training. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Passion, enthusiasm, and a strong commitment to high-quality care. Demonstrated ability to co-operatively contribute to and support a team environment and to work flexibly, both within rooms and according to the needs of the Centre. A thorough knowledge of children’s development and ability to observe, plan, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate children’s programs.
