We are pleased to invite applications for the position of Site Manager to join our UH-60M Black Hawk team based in Holsworthy. Your responsibilities will include: Manage day to day operations and personnel tasking for the Holsworthy Black Hawk team. Lead strategic activities relating to further development of ongoing Sustainment improvements. Provide guidance and mentoring to Embedded team. Establish implementation plans for Sustainment improvements. Lead and Manage the site team, being responsive to customer request and implementing corrective actions where required. Monitor and report to the Embedded Services Manager on the alignment between Sustainment strategic improvements and Transitioning Transformation activities. Participate and report status in internal and external Program forums as required. Work with Team members from cross functional services, service delivery and transformation to ensure tracking of development efforts are inline to achieve Program milestones. Develop and own risks related to operations and transition management to ensure risk mitigations are in place for activities identified. About you: You will demonstrate extensive professional experience and business success in a similar role within an engineering or project environment (maintenance management, operational planning, etc) within the defence industry. You will hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Engineering, Operations Maintenance, etc) from a recognised institution and/or extensive relevant experience. To be successful in this role you will also have: Extensive experience managing Aircraft and Logistics Operations experience, ideally in a Defence DASR Part 145 organisation. Extensive Project Management experience, with the ability to manage across multiple disciplines with competing priorities. Strong demonstrated experience in a Defence Training environment. Extensive experience managing a distributed multi-disciplinary workforce. Demonstrated experience establishing strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Special Requirements: Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
