About the role: Based from either Sydney or Melbourne and reporting to the Regional Manager, our Roving Care Manager(s) are required to fill short term vacant Care Manager roles to effectively lead and manage the delivery of person-centred care of residents, ensuring the highest standard of ongoing assessment, care planning and evaluation and clinical governance. The Roving CM will be required to hold IPC Lead qualification. The IPC is the dedicated expert responsible to support the design, implementation and continuous improvement of infection prevention and control policies, procedures and practices within the homes. Care Managers are also key role models, demonstrating the Bupa Values. As our Roving Care Manager, you will work as part of a team of empathetic and caring clinical professionals. You will support the General Managers in managing and leading the delivery of person-centred care of residents, ensuring the highest standard of ongoing assessment, care planning and evaluation and clinical governance, helping them to live longer, healthier, and happier lives. Benefits of Bupa Supportive, collaborative, and caring team culture Continual learning and development opportunities Relocation and accommodation assistance available Internal opportunities within the Bupa network Discounts on health insurance as well as other benefits Duties Oversee the daily clinical operations of the care homes Support and lead the care home clinical team including coaching, mentoring, staff allocations and delegation, performance management and education Review clinical incidents, complaints and changes Lead compliance with AN-ACC assessments Manage person-centred care planning and evaluation for residents - including case conferencing with families and carers Prepare and conduct clinical governance audits Oversee medication management in accordance with resident needs and legislative requirements Liaise with allied health, medical practitioners and other services to provide optimal resident care Skills and Experience Current AHPRA is essential IPC Lead Qualification Bachelor of Nursing or Equivalent is essential Proven track record in delivering quality clinical care within an aged care or acute setting Excellent clinical assessment skills and care planning capabilities Highly effective communication, leadership and relationship management skills An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes We all share the same purpose at Bupa Aged Care.
