The Opportunity: Brightwater are seeking an experienced and proactive Service Manager with excellent leadership capabilities to work as a Roving Service Manager to cover planned and unplanned leave across all Brightwater 10x METRO locations (Joondalup, Kingsley, Madeley, Inglewood, Innaloo, Subiaco, Redcliff, Waikiki and Mandurah ). In addition, this position will undertake projects within the Residential Aged Care team including implementation and will be provided the opportunity to cover leave for the Operations Managers. This is a permanent full-time position working core business hours Monday to Friday . Leading a large and diverse team to provide quality care to our clients in line with Brightwater’s Mission and the Aged Care Quality Standards. The expectations and responsibilities include: Lead and manage the residential aged care/transitional care site, overseeing provision of clinical care, budget and financial management, facility and resource management, staff recruitment, training, regulatory compliance, retention and safety. Implement and maintain robust systems to ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, Brightwater policies, legislative requirements, and residential guidelines, including timely and accurate reporting. Identify areas of risk and facilitate the resolution of complex problems by investigating, developing and implementing practical solutions. Support the site’s annual budget and operational planning process in consultation with the Residential management team; ensuring operational activities are aligned to strategic objectives. Ensure all client funding is optimised, accurate, submitted in a timely manner and reviewed as required. Provide on-call support to site staff out of hours in conjunction with other senior staff. To be successful in this role, you will have: Ideally experienced as a Service Manager, qualified and suitably registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) (desirable). Strong commitment to providing safe, high-quality care using a client-centred approach. Sound understanding of accreditation in aged care or health and the federal and state aged care reforms, and a proactive approach to quality improvement. Demonstrated experience in the operational management of physical, human and financial resources, including budgeting, recruitment, performance management, training and development, with knowledge of safety and health legislation and employment legislation.
