Rural Interprofessional Clinical Educator (Allied Health) Regional, rural and remote $$$ incentives Working with us Eligible health practitioners entitled to accrue an additional three days professional development leave per annum, resulting in a total of six days professional development leave per annum. Eligible health practitioners working in designated remote areas will be entitled to a professional development allowance of $3,512.00 per annum. The Rural Interprofessional Clinical Educator (RICE) is positioned within the Allied Health Service Department and will deliver high level education services and leadership. Within this scope, the role will have accountability to provide and support the delivery of education and training to undergraduate, new graduate and postgraduate allied health professionals and assistants working in various teams and settings across the North West Hospital and Health Service (NWHHS). The position will facilitate and/or contribute expert advice to support the design, implementation, and evaluation of a range of inter-professional and profession-specific student and practitioner development strategies. Requirements Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences (Please refer to Role Description for further details). Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks. This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis. A period of probation may apply.
