We are currently seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant to join a transformative project, supporting the department in the delivery of modern financial solutions through a significant cloud transformation initiative. This is a 6-month contract with the potential for extension, located in Brisbane with onsite work required. About The Role: This role is part of a larger program aimed at transitioning to a modern, efficient technology platform that simplifies processes and enhances customer-centric solutions. You will be responsible for developing and configuring SAP Financial Accounting and Management Accounting solutions within SAP Cloud Public Edition. Your expertise will drive the design and implementation of finance solutions that meet business requirements across multiple systems in the IT landscape. You'll work closely with the Finance team and other stakeholders to deliver solutions that are fit for purpose and support the ongoing cloud transformation journey. Integration of finance processes with other systems is a critical aspect of this role. Key Responsibilities: Develop, configure, and implement SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Banking, Asset Accounting, and Cost Centre/Profit Centre Accounting. Collaborate with business analysts, solutions architects, and the finance team to design and implement effective financial systems. Lead workshops for business requirements gathering and promote the adoption of SAP Best Practices. Contribute to the overall strategy for Financial Systems, ensuring integration with other business operations and non-SAP systems. Assist with data migration planning and execution, along with cutover activities and go-live support during Hypercare. Support the finance transformation journey, ensuring the delivery of reliable and scalable financial solutions. We are looking for someone with: At least 10 years of SAP experience, including 3 or more end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation cycles in Finance. Strong expertise in configuring and implementing finance processes within SAP, such as AP, AR, GL, BCM, AA, and CO. Previous experience in large-scale SAP implementations, particularly in SAP Cloud Public Edition. Proficiency in Agile implementation methodologies. In-depth knowledge of SAP Fiori UX, Flexible Workflows, and Business Technology Platform (BTP) services. Strong analytical skills with the ability to design and implement end-to-end financial solutions. Desirable Skills: SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition certification. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage ambiguity.
