SUMMARY We are looking for a skilled Master Data Specialist to join our innovative team. This role focuses on strengthening master data governance, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and reliability across our global operations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive professional with extensive experience in SAP and a strong background in master data management within a complex, multi-regional environment. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Master Data Governance: Lead efforts to enhance the governance framework for master data across all business units.Develop and implement processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.Establish and enforce data standards, policies, and procedures. Data Entry and Maintenance: Enter and maintain critical master data in SAP, particularly for new product launches and related tasks.Ensure timely and accurate updates to product data within SAP systems.Validate data to ensure compliance with company standards and policies. Data Integration and System Interoperability: Manage the migration and synchronization of master data between SAP and other enterprise systems using ETL tools and middleware platforms.Collaborate with IT teams and external consultants to design and implement data mapping, validation, and transformation processes for seamless integration. Data Quality Management: Conduct regular data quality checks to identify and resolve inconsistencies or errors.Partner with business teams to ensure accurate and timely data entry and maintenance.Develop and deliver training programs to promote data governance and quality standards. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance master data processes and governance.Implement best practices in data management across all relevant systems.Work with cross-functional teams to streamline data flows and improve system integration. Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for master data-related inquiries and issues.Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, IT, and Manufacturing) and external consultants to ensure reliable data flow across systems.Engage with global teams to address specific data governance needs.Lead and participate in projects related to data governance, data migration, and system integrations.Ensure all master data initiatives align with broader business strategies and objectives. REQUIRED CAPABILITIES Minimum of 5 years of experience in master data management, with a focus on data governance. Proven expertise in SAP, particularly within an ERP environment. Experience in a global or multi-regional organization, preferably in retail, manufacturing, or a related industry. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certification in data management is a plus. Strong knowledge of SAP master data management modules and tools. Familiarity with data integration processes and tools. Proficiency in data quality management and data cleansing techniques.
